Vintage Clear Glass Syrup with Pewter (?) lid

Description

ANTIQUE CLEAR GLASS SYRUP PITCHER with PEWTER LID.  This is appr. 7″ tall and is vintage.  The lid is what I believe to be pewter.  It has a star design on the bottom and vertical lines on the side.  I see no damage.  The lid could use some attention but I tend to not clean other than with soap and water so as not to damage the item. It is a neat piece of history that could still be used.
